Unlike other renaming softwares, which provide a limited list of actions, Namagic lets you build your own workflows. It works with two-stage operations: a selection (by searching for a text, special characters, a position in the filename, or even regular expressions), associated to a sequence of actions (remove the selected text, append new characters, insert a sequence of digits...) The aim is to provide a flexible solution, whether it is used to rename a few vacation pictures, or work with hundred of files and several operations. Possibilities depend on you.
